Real Wedding by Hope’s: Jordan and Will

Jordan and Will’s timeless romance wedding is out of a fairy tale, and the story all started when a girl walked into a bar.  The couple met at The Pelican in Corpus Christi, Texas.  When Will saw Jordan, he told his friend, “The girl of my dreams just walked in.” He immediately came over to talk to her, and they hit it off sharing their love of the outdoors, jeeps, camping, and hiking.

“He’s the kind of man who operates with integrity in everything he does. His level of care and attention to detail is something I admire greatly about him! He always puts my happiness first which is something that I had never experienced before,” Jordan gushes about Will.

The proposal came as a complete surprise on Valentine’s morning.   Jordan thought he was giving her earrings, so she shook the box before she opened it. “Luckily it stayed in the box and as soon as I opened it, Will dropped to his knee and proposed. It was an intimate moment that I wouldn’t trade for anything! It’s a moment only the two of us have!”

As the couple began to plan their May wedding, Jordan’s mom was there to make Jordan’s vision come to life.  “She was my rock; she organized everything with Tamara Wendt Designs, so I didn’t have to worry at all.  She is the most thoughtful, wisest, smartest most business-savvy woman I know! This wedding would not have been the same without her!”  She even applied Swarovski crystals one by one on Jordan’s veil!

Early in the process they came to Hope’s, where Jordan found her dress, veil, Meg Jewelry, and head piece along with bridesmaid dresses. Jordan complimented Hope’s on the “warm, fun, passionate environment and people; major retailers don’t have the level of attention to detail that I found through Hopes Bridal!”

The day of the wedding came and went with tons of love.  Jordan and Will did not see each other before the ceremony, so meeting at the alter was very emotional.  One of Jordan’s favorite memories is her first look with her dad in his navy uniform.  “It brought a rush of memories from my childhood. My father has never wavered in his love, care and leadership of our family!”  The two also surprised everyone with a father daughter dance they secretly prepared!

A couple full of surprises, Will had his own for Jordan when he planned a romantic two-week honeymoon to Scotland and Ireland!  They spent their time exploring the culture, food, and whiskey.  Now, they advise other newlyweds to hold onto the romance. “Embrace each other as often as possible!” Jordan says.

Thank you so much for sharing your stunning wedding with us, Jordan and Will!  It was a joy to be a part of your special day that was just the beginning of your timeless romance!
