Happy Halloween, lovelies!  It’s such a fun and beautiful time of the year!  We are sure enjoying the start of our “slow season” (lol…) at Hope’s.  We are using this time to prep for the craziness after the holidays: Finalizing prom orders, reconstructing our space to better serve all of you come January, and planning for upcoming events like the super-fun Veils + Cocktails Bachelorette Experience!  Of course, we still have some awesome brides tying the knot in the next couple of months, but if we ever get a “breather” to catch up on the little things we keep putting off- it’s now!  So I want to share a little Halloween update about what is in the works.  (But make sure you get to the bottom of this post for one of our favorite Halloween recipes!)

In the next couple of weeks, we will offer a preview of Prom 2015.  We are excited to update you on the top trends for this year.  We’re just waiting on a couple more of our prom lines to update their websites with their new collections because we want you to see pictures!  In the meantime, check out our Pinterest board “Prom Dresses 2015” to start scoping out some of the hundreds of styles we have coming to our stores in the next few months! https://www.pinterest.com/hopesbridal/prom-dresses-2015/

We also plan on giving you some more details on our rearranging/construction project in the next few weeks.  Let’s just say we are going to have a new dedicated prom area that is going to make things so much more fun for the high school girls and so much calmer for the wedding parties visiting us this spring.  We are excited!

Finally, here are some updates on two events you may want to put on the calendar.  This Sunday our lovely Katy will be hosting a booth at the Park Place Event Centre’s Fall Wedding Show in Cedar Falls.  This show is always so nice, and it’s a great chance for any brides-to-be in the CF/Waterloo area to meet local vendors.  (We count as local- our Atkins shop is only about 50 minutes away!:-))  Veils + Cocktails is coming up January 17th.  I am seriously so excited for this event because it’s a night out with your girlfriends!  Instead of the regular overwhelming bridal expo, this will be set up to help you relax and have fun in a unique space with drinks while interacting with the area’s best wedding vendors.  You really should check it out and plan to go with a group of friends!  Tickets are at a special low price for a few more days if you visit the website! http://www.veilsandcocktailsevent.com

And here’s what you have really been looking for:  One of our favorite Halloween treats from our staff’s “Cookbook Full of Hope”!  It’s so easy, you’ve got to try it.
